2015 Goals. 2015 rest of the year plan

This has been in draft status for the last 5 months, since first wrote all 4 goals down at my parents house on vacation in December.  Since we're half way through the year, and I have the first two checked off, I guess I can publish it now.

1)  Qualify for the 2016 Boston Marathon with a sub 3:10 marathon.
Note: based on the registration process 3:08 or faster may be needed.
                UPDATE: CHECK

2)  Sub-1:30 1/2 marathon.
UPDATE: CHECKED in Phx back in late feb...click the link.

3) Falmouth Road Race (7 miles) PR.
I ran 48:15 there when I was 23 years old and at the apex of my early-20's running stint.     Last year I went out too fast floundered the last few miles at over 7--min pace.  And in between...well, see below.  I ran it unofficially a few times between 2002 and 2009, but the below official consecutive entries starts in 2009.

There was....unpleasantness.
The 48:15 PR was with another runner's bib and isn't in my Athlinks

Falmouth Update: as of June 1, my goal is a bit bigger than just a PR.  I want to see if I can get it in 45 minutes.

4)  Run my first race over marathon distance (likely a 50k or 55k)
UPDATE: the week after Sugarloaf, I was offered a complimentary entry in the North Face Endurance Challenge 50k in Marin County, CA.  Why yes, that does look pretty challenging!  The race is the first weekend in December.

That means the plan for the rest of the year is:
a) run the BAA 10k (father's day) sub 40 so that I will be seeded in the first corral at Falmouth.
b) run Falmouth 7mi (mid-August) real hard.
c) Falmouth coincides with 16 weeks out from NFEC.  16 weeks is my normal training block for a marathon.  There will need to be a healthy amount of trails.  Blue Hills and hopefully one or two weekend day-trips up north
d) probably run with NB in the RTB relay in mid-September
e) probably aim to do a trail marathon sometime in early November as a long training run.
f) NFEC in 5ish hours (time target TBD...5 hours may even be aggressive.)
g) Rest in December.  Spend a week+ in St. Johns with all my medals, and maybe the occasional run from Maho Bay over to Waterlemon Cay
h) start up in January with Boston training.
